When it comes to birthday celebrations, there are parties… and then there are parties with a BBQ feast so good it steals the show. That’s exactly what went down at Cowbridge Rugby Club, where Hog Roast Cowbridge had the absolute pleasure of catering a birthday bash for 130 very hungry guests.
Catering managers James, Rob, and Harry fired up the grill and delivered a next-level Gourmet BBQ that turned heads and filled bellies. Picture this: the unmistakable aroma of British beef burgers, chef’s own gourmet sausages, juicy Thai chicken kebabs, and sticky, smoky BBQ marinated spareribs sizzling away on the BBQ – all served hot and fresh with fried onions, a sprinkling of cheese, and a smile.
Of course, no great burger is complete without the perfect bun, so we laid out a tempting selection of bread rolls and wraps, including wholemeal and gluten-free options, to keep everyone happily munching.
Plant-based guests weren’t left out – far from it! We brought two homemade veggie and vegan favourites: flavour-packed vegetarian burgers and our famous BBQ pulled jackfruit, slow-simmered and slathered in smoky hickory sauce, topped with crunchy slaw, and served in a soft bun. You wouldn’t even miss the meat!
To round out the feast, we served up fresh and colourful seasonal green leaf salad and our chef’s own pasta salad, plus hearty portions of roasted baby new potatoes – golden, fluffy, and everything you want from a proper BBQ side.
Everything was beautifully presented on eco-friendly bamboo crockery, with wooden cutlery and premium napkins to keep things classy while still totally relaxed.
From start to finish, this birthday celebration was packed with flavour, laughter, and great energy. The team at Hog Roast Cowbridge was thrilled to be part of the fun, and judging by the clean plates and happy faces, it’s safe to say this party was a flaming success!
