Event catering is always a special experience, but none more so than when we get to actually be part of a special day. It’s what any caterer gets into this industry to do. Wedding catering is the gold standard amongst all caterers; it is the dining service that we all want to provide, as it promises style, spectacle, and the very best of every one of your services.
In our thirty plus years of service we at Hog Roast Cardiff are still in awe of each and every wedding we attend. We do not take a single one for granted, from the big glitzy and glam ones to the more modest affairs amongst close knit friends and family. It’s always a good time when Hog Roast Cardiff are involved with wedding dining.
Our catering managers Rob, James, and Harry all got to find that joy once again earlier this month as the Hog Roast Cardiff team headed out to the wonderful Michaelston-y-Fedw Village Hall for a stylish yet modest wedding dinner. Our customers and lucky newlyweds had pulled in around 100 of their friends and family to celebrate their new matrimony. Those 100 are all going to need feeding, of course, and they’ll need so in true style. Fortunately, that is what Hog Roast Cardiff are all about!
There is nought more stylish in wedding dining than our signature hog roast. Cooked in the traditional spit style, our hog roast is a taste sensation of tender and crisp textures. Throughout the roasting process the fat skims of the pork, turning into lovely golden, crispy, bubbling crackling that provides added flavour and crunch. We then served up our hog roast to guests buffet style with sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, sweet potato and regular fries, tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, coleslaw, and a vegan alternative of BBQ pulled jackfruit – made to taste exactly like our signature hog roast so that everyone comes away with the same delicious taste experience.
Our dining was second only to the fun of the rest of the party. We made our exits, but from what we understand the celebrations did not end for quite some time after – and nor should they when it is your special day!
