Laid Back Luxury with Hog Roast Pembrokeshire at Winterton Farm

Hog Roast PembrokeshireThe day after a wedding is all about slowing down and soaking in every last moment. On 27 July, we had the absolute pleasure of catering a relaxed and joyful post wedding meal for 60 guests at the beautiful Winterton Farm in Dale. The rolling countryside of Pembrokeshire provided the perfect backdrop for this easygoing celebration.

Our team, led by catering managers Rob, Harry and James, arrived ready to serve up a feast to remember. At the heart of the buffet was our signature whole roasted pig, cooked low and slow until the meat was tender and the crackling perfectly crisp. Served with sweet apple sauce, sage and onion stuffing, and a selection of soft bread rolls and wraps including gluten free options, it was the kind of spread guests couldn’t wait to tuck into.

The accompaniments brought colour and freshness to the table. We laid out a vibrant tomato and mozzarella salad, a crisp mixed green salad, and our house creamy coleslaw. For the potato lovers, herb dressed new potatoes added the perfect finishing touch.

Hog Roast PembrokeshireWe never forget our vegetarian and vegan guests either. Our homemade pulled jackfruit was served in a soft bun, steeped in smoky hickory BBQ sauce and finished with a crunchy slaw. It always surprises people how much flavour we pack into this dish and it’s become one of our most talked about meat free options.

Served buffet style on wooden disposable crockery with wooden cutlery, the meal was relaxed and fuss free yet still full of flavour and flair. Guests mingled, laughed and went back for seconds, exactly what a day after celebration should be.

If you are planning a wedding weekend or just want to treat your guests to a truly delicious experience, Hog Roast Pembrokeshire is here to help you serve up something special.
