Gemma came to cater for my event on the 15th. She arrived promptly and set up efficiently. The party started after she arrived and people barely noticed she was there until it came time to eat. Throughout, she was friendly and professional. The pig was lovely. All the guests commented on the quality with some picking out the crackling for special mention, whilst others highlighted the apple sauce. One guest has not been able to eat meat for a year due to illness – he was not able to get enough of it. Many went back for seconds – or more – but there was still plenty left over, which Gemma put on trays for us. We have been enjoying it in many forms for nearly a week. I had a lot of tidying up to do the next day but none of it was in Gemma’s little area; she had cleaned up brilliantly and disappeared discretely.
Overall, I am very glad that Spitting Pig were able to cater for me. I thought the whole process worked well and, obviously, my guests loved it.
