Hog Roast Llantwit MajorFor a birthday party featuring a traditional centrepiece hog roast as the star attraction, Nick asked us to make our succulent pigs in buns for his 35 guests, but to also provide additional options. He needed a gluten-free guest catered and he also wanted some fresh salads and a potato dish served. When it comes to any guests with dietary needs, we have plenty on offer and we’re proud to say we make sure that everyone invited gets to eat our food. If you have any vegetarian guests, we have mains such as veggie skewers, quiches, and stuffed vegetables, and we can make them vegan if needed. We are often asked for plant-based alternatives these days and we’re more than happy to assist.

For the gluten-free guest invited to Nick’s birthday celebration, he was very surprised to hear that they could actually eat our Hog Roast Llantwit Major pigs in buns just like everyone else, as long as we brought along suitable bread rolls, as our other ingredients are already suitable.

In terms of the extra food, we would make a tomato and mozzarella salad and our homemade coleslaw fresh on the day, and we would cook new potatoes with herbs inside the hog roast machine. The potatoes would be cooked separately to the meat, which would sizzle away above.

On the day of the birthday bash, our Hog Roast Llantwit Major team cooked a gorgeous hog at a low temperature for several hours, until the skin turned crispy and golden and the insides were tender and moist. We served pigs in buns until the hog was stripped clean, and the new potatoes and salads were all devoured too, so we know that the guests enjoyed our food, and Nick in particular couldn’t stop singing our praises.
