Hog Roast Carmarthenshire were delighted to be asked to cater at Llandovery College in the beautiful Welsh county of Carmarthenshire for approximately 150 guests in the college grounds. The college is very popular around the area and holds this type of event annually to support its staff and to promote the college. It was clear that an event of this nature would likely be quite informal and relaxed and we discussed which menu was most appropriate and with six to choose from for this type of event, the client wanted the standard “Hog in a Roll” service but with a vegetarian option for 20 guests.
Hog Roast Carmarthenshire has catered for the college for the previous event and they have been so impressed with our quality of food and service that we have received repeat business from them and with very positive feedback; it is essential for any catering company to ensure that the high quality is sustained and consistent as there are many good catering organisations out there, we like to think that what makes Hog Roast Carmarthenshire stand out and be great, is the consistently excellent food and service that we provide.
We liaised closely with the organisers as they required two serving points and we arrived in plenty of time to set up our equipment at both locations, carefully managing the loading and access points. As soon as the pig started to roast and the fabulous aromas from the pig started wafting around, plenty of people came over to investigate and, with mouths already watering, were looking forward to the delicious food that we would be serving. For the non-meat eaters, they were also impressed with the veggie burgers and salads that we had prepared and couldn’t wait to tuck in.
Once serving commenced, the hog rolls, veggie burgers and salads were quickly devoured with many coming back for more and with very positive comments about the professional service and high-quality food that we served; Hog Roast Carmarthenshire hope to be back next year!
