We can arrange something completely simple yet delicious with a traditional hog roast and our staff to cut the wedding cake and present it for your guests,  all the way to a smooth silver service sit down 3-course meal.

Recently, Hog Roast Fishguard had the responsibility of a full day wedding. Our catering manager and his team served the welcome drinks to on the guest’s arrival. It was an option of Prosecco, Pimms or orange juice; the drinks were provided by the bridal party but served in a professional manner by Hog Roast Fishguard’s well-presented staff. To accompany these welcome drinks, canapés were offered. The bride and groom had selected four canapés from our menu’s, choosing honey and wholegrain mustard sausages, pate en croute, a medley of mini quiches and smoked salmon. In the medley of mini quiches, Hog Roast Fishguard ensures a vegetarian option so that any vegetarian guests do not go without. Each canapé is a party in the mouth, giving the guests a taster of what is to come with the main course.

The main course was an option of two meats with the bride and groom selecting lamb and beef. This was no ordinary lamb though, no this was a spit-roasted lamb, 100% theatre for the guests and 100% completely tasty being cooked with rosemary and garlic. To accompany the tender meats, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and gravy were served with a selection of sauces, not forgetting the traditional mint and horseradish sauce for these meats. An excellent and popular idea is having the wedding cake for dessert which Hog Roast Fishguard presents with fresh berries and pouring cream.

For the reception, they had a traditional hog roast with succulent pulled pork and scrumptious sage and onion stuffing served in a selection of bread rolls and accompanied with a selection of sauces, not forgetting the crunchy crackling on the side, this is always a winner!
