After facing government restrictions for the past year and a half, there have been so many personal celebrations that have been missed. To make up for lost time, the Scott family planned to host an outdoor party to celebrate missed birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and promotions within their family. This was a great idea and was going to be a perfect reunion for the extended family, made even better by the addition of Hog Roast Brecon catering! For the menu, we were asked to provide our Southern Slow Roast menu since it always goes down a treat.
For this menu, we prepared three meat dishes and a vegetarian option. This included a BBQ pork butt, Cajun spiced chicken, a Texan beef brisket, and vegan pulled jackfruit. The meats were roasted low and slow on the day of the party, coated in delicious homemade marinades. Alongside the mains, we provided some tasty sauces and side dishes, including Cajun hot pepper sauce, hickory bourbon BBQ sauce, crunchy coleslaw, Greek salad, roasted baby new potatoes and corn cobbettes.
Our delicious catering was served to the family outdoors under a catering gazebo, with bamboo crockery and cutlery. This was an ideal summer menu and catering style, giving the family some delicious food to bond over while they celebrated.
